\"US<\/a> \"Headed<\/a><\/p>\n

Another travel day.\u00a0 The dogs are getting used to stopping along the roads and having new sniffies each time we stop.\u00a0 Millie doesn\u2019t give it a thought, but KatieBug pulls hard in the direction of the RV when she is finished with her business.\u00a0 We chose Highway 90 for most of the way to El Paso.\u00a0 Now I know why they put up fences on the road sides.\u00a0 I have not seen that many tumble weeds since watching that spooky episode of, I believe it was the Twilight Zone.\u00a0 Of course we were again near Mexico and we passed by some strange sights along the way.\u00a0 A blimp in the middle of nowhere that was part of the U.S. Air Force at Marfa.\u00a0 Old decrepit buildings that looked like they were left over from a nuclear testing site and with the walls ripped open, you can see that they really are made from adobe.\u00a0 I\u2019ve never seen so many trucks moving along so fast both coming at us and moving away.<\/p>\n

\"Parking<\/a><\/p>\n

When we arrived in El Paso at our RV park, it was a big gravel parking lot with nice wide and long spaces.\u00a0 Not exactly the hotel atmosphere I would have chosen had we just come for vacation but fine for two nights.\u00a0 The wind blows hard here so we had to slide in our long kitchen area\u2026 but there is still plenty of room.\u00a0 Another \u201creal life\u201d day of shopping, finding a welder to fix Ribbit\u2019s tow chain connection, getting laundry done and planning our menu for the rally next week.<\/p>\n

The internet is so slow. \u00a0Loading pictures takes forever.\u00a0 I\u2019ve got to admit\u2026I\u2019m not as patient as I used to be.\u00a0 Oh, wait a minute\u2026I was never patient.\u00a0 Guess that\u2019s something I\u2019ll have to work on sometime in the future.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
