Saying Goodby To Daughters and Son"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/perrellas.com\/?attachment_id=364\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-364\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Liz taking our picture at our fairwel Breakfast at El Bosque\" src=\"http:\/\/perrellas.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/Liz-taking-our-picture-at-our-fairwel-Breakfast-at-El-Bosque-150x150.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/perrellas.com\/?attachment_id=363\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-363\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Derya after our fairwell breakfast\" src=\"http:\/\/perrellas.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/Derya-after-our-fairwell-breakfast1-150x150.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Our adventure actually began this morning as we said farewell to Liz and Derya at breakfast and took lots of pictures before driving off.\u00a0 Our next stop was Kenedy TX where Josh is working at an oil rig site.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/perrellas.com\/?attachment_id=44\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-44\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Kenedy RV resort 2\" src=\"http:\/\/perrellas.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/Kenedy-RV-resort-2-150x150.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/perrellas.com\/?attachment_id=43\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-43\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Kenedy RV resort 1\" src=\"http:\/\/perrellas.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/Kenedy-RV-resort-1-150x150.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The air is filled with dust flying and flairs from the dozen or so drilling sites surrounding this little slice of parking lot with crushed cement, old trailers and pickup trucks.\u00a0 If this is a resort\u2026well, the pictures say it all.\u00a0 Yes, it is an oil town in every sense of the word and our LilyPad and Ribbit looked very out of place.\u00a0\u00a0 We took Josh home to his trailer after dinner.\u00a0 Oil drilling sites are very scary looking places.\u00a0 Flags telling you if it is safe to come near, all vehicles must back into the parking spaces just in case an emergency occurs and a huge fiery flair just a few feet from the trailer where they sleep, burning off the natural gas that isn\u2019t profitable enough for them to build a gathering system .\u00a0 Josh\u2019s site is still flying a green flag so it is OK to come near.\u00a0 Scary as I think this place is, the flag is green and he does make good money.\u00a0 Back at our \u201cresort\u201d the site is so tilted that the front wheels are off the ground and if you set a can on the floor, it rolls and smacks into the front of the RV.\u00a0 Ah yes, the adventure has begun.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0 Our adventure actually began this morning as we said farewell to Liz and Derya at breakfast and took lots of pictures before driving off.\u00a0 Our next stop was Kenedy TX where Josh is working at an oil rig site. &hellip;
