{"id":1131,"date":"2013-03-05T05:50:29","date_gmt":"2013-03-05T05:50:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/perrellas.com\/?p=1131"},"modified":"2014-01-30T15:48:57","modified_gmt":"2014-01-30T15:48:57","slug":"march-4-2013","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/perrellas.com\/?p=1131","title":{"rendered":"March 4, 2013 &#8211; Azalea Park, Metal Detecting and Loeb State Park"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Excellent start to our day.\u00a0 LilyPad is dried out and we are able to proceed with our adventure seeking.\u00a0 Dad, John, the dogs and I went to Azalea Park this morning and I found my first treasure while metal detecting.\u00a0 The dogs came over to sniff where I was poking around but didn\u2019t understand why I was so excited about something not eatable.\u00a0 It was fun, I found my first treasure (2 pennies), deep breaths of refreshing cool sea air and exercise.\u00a0 Multitasking at its finest.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/perrellas.com\/?attachment_id=1128\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1128\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"My first treasure\" src=\"http:\/\/perrellas.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/My-first-treasure-150x112.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"112\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s been either rainy or very foggy since our arrival with only a few hours of appealing temperatures scattered throughout those days.\u00a0 It\u2019s a good thing that great weather isn\u2019t necessary for metal detecting or hanging with the family.\u00a0 On the beach, the sun makes appearances in short bursts.\u00a0 The wind can get mean and it whips up the sand so we stay away if we see lots of tree tops being pushed in the same direction.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/perrellas.com\/?attachment_id=1130\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1130\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Waiting for another adventure\" src=\"http:\/\/perrellas.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Waiting-for-another-adventure-150x112.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"112\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The pups were getting restless for another adventure so we drove to Loeb State Park for a walk along the Chetco River and then down one of the foot trails in the picnic area.\u00a0 More spooky dimness and green moss dripping from the branches.\u00a0 No way to tell which way is North to Alaska with moss growing 360 degrees around all the trees.
