Redwoods\" src=\"http:\/\/perrellas.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/Opened-up-our-door-and-pow-Redwoods-150x99.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"99\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Opened up our door this morning to giant Redwoods so tall their tips were hiding beyond our sight.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/perrellas.com\/?attachment_id=1017\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1017\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Yes, John was that close\" src=\"http:\/\/perrellas.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/Yes-John-was-that-close-150x112.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"112\" \/><\/a>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/perrellas.com\/?attachment_id=1016\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1016\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"The wharf by the Cafe\" width=\"150\" height=\"112\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Took a quick driving tour of the town after breakfast at the wharf Caf\u00e9, barking sea lions with putrid fish breath greeting us as we entered.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/perrellas.com\/?attachment_id=1018\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1018\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Crescent City Light House\" src=\"http:\/\/perrellas.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/Scenic-ocean-drive-150x99.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"99\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Picked up the pups after breakfast and headed to the beach.\u00a0 The smell of the ocean was soothing with only occasional whiffs of smoke from ocean cottage fireplaces.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/perrellas.com\/?attachment_id=1022\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1022\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"John and pups exploring\" src=\"http:\/\/perrellas.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/John-and-pups-exploring-150x99.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"99\" \/><\/a>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/perrellas.com\/?attachment_id=1028\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1028\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"On the beach looking at snow on the src=\"http:\/\/perrellas.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/John-stuck-on-the-rocks-150x99.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"99\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The pups enjoyed discovering each and every tide pool along the shore and had plenty of company from other dogs running free along the sand.\u00a0 As the tide began to move back in, John got stuck on the rocks and the pups enjoyed visiting him until he was able to jump back onto firm sand.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/perrellas.com\/?attachment_id=1024\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1024\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Large herd of Elk\" width=\"150\" height=\"99\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Took a drive to Brookings, OR where we will be staying for the next two weeks.\u00a0 After finding a perfect site, we drove home via Elks Valley Road and some wildlife viewing areas.\u00a0 Even Hwy 101 had herds grazing in the fields.\u00a0 Tired pups went to sleep as soon as they got into their crates and the owls started up their all night
